Yet another addition to 9th Power Bangladesh 2013 International Expo is the E-Power Bangladesh 2013 focusing on Electric Power Equipment and Technology, being held concurrently with the main exhibition from 14 - 16 November 2013 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, Dhaka-Bangladesh.Bangladesh offers unique opportunities to suppliers of electro technical equipment and services. If the government are to meet their vision of a Digital Bangladesh by 2013, millions of people must be given access to electricity in the next 12 years, which will require massive investment in power generation, renewable energy and downstream electrical equipment. The Bangladesh Government has prepared a plan for the next five years for development of the power sector, which would involve an amount of US$6 billion-US$4.4 billion for generation, US$600 million for transmission and US$1billion for distribution.
