Introduction:
Jointly organized by the eight Chinese Ministries and United Nations Industrial Development Organization，China International Industry Fair (CIIF) is a leading event on equipment manufacturing in China. Since CIIF's founding in 1999, CIIF has become one of the most influential international industry brand exhibitions in China, through implementing marketization, professionalization, internationalization and branding as its strategies for over 15 years. CIIF, a UFI approved event, is a leading event for manufacturing in China as well as an important window and platform open to the world for international trade, communication and cooperation on industrial field. CIIF 2014 occupies over 160,000 square meters as its display area and attracts more than 2,000 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions and over 110,000 professional visitors.
Consequently, the 1st ever China Innovation Expo of Industrial Design (CIEID) makes its debut by connecting CIIF. CIEID 2014 will be held on 4-8 November, 2014 in the hall E6 of Shanghai New International Expo Centre with planned organization.
As a professional exhibition about industry design and innovation in CIIF, taking advantage of CIIF, CIEID makes "Industrial Design Leads Industry Upgrading" as its theme, so as to emphasize the connection of industrial design and industry.
Furthermore, China Industrial Design Institute will launch the 1st “CIIF Industrial Design and Innovation Awards”, in recognition of the achievement in industrial design field. There will be a series of fringe programs such as brand special performances、speeches、new product launches and shows at Center Stage. The industrial Design Time Gallery will be displayed in the middle of hall E6 to completely present the development and progress of the society driven by industrial design and innovation.
