Introduction
Approved by the Ministry of Commerce of P.R.China, China Kunming Import & Export Commodities Fair (short for Kunming Fair) is a regional and international trade fair, jointly sponsored by the People's Governments of Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou Provinces, Guangxi and Tibet Autonomous Regions, Chongqing and Chengdu Municipalities. Kunming Fair has been successfully held for fourteen consecutive years and each fair attracted about 4,000 - 6,000 guests from over 40 - 60 countries and regions as well as 1,000 domestic enterprises from 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. The accumulated contractual value of import and export trade, cross-border trade, investment promotion, contracting of foreign project construction and labor cooperation exceeds US$24.941billion. Attraction: The international trade fair among ASEAN and China Business Coverage: Import and export trade, cross-border trade, investment promotion, contracting of foreign project construction and labor cooperation Exhibition Pavilions: Set up pavilions according to the different commodities, including Machinery & Electronics, IT Industry, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare Products, Agricultural Products, Light Industry & Craftworks, Textiles & Clothes etc. and continually set up three special pavilions which are Overseas Pavilion (ASEAN, South Asia, Other countries pavilions), Cross-border Trade and Foreign Investment Promotion Co-organizers: All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Macao Chamber of Commerce, Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Sino-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Economy, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ASEAN Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lao National Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry Participation in the Fair: 1. Domestic enterprises who intend to participate in the fair need to register their application for participation through the delegation organized by the commerce authority of the Province, Autonomous Region or Municipality, where they are located. However, large scale national foreign trading enterprises can directly register their participation. Enterprises who wish to join the Fair but do not have their own provincial or municipal delegation can also register directly with Kunming Fair Office to join the United Delegation. 2. Overseas participants need to register with CCPIT Yunnan Sub-Council, which is responsible for organizing overseas companies, participation in the Fair. 3. Any overseas guest, who wishes to attend the Fair, can directly contact the Office of Kunming Fair for an invitation.
