Reed Tradex launches "Vietnam Sheet Metal" to serve huge demand of the sheet metal industry in Vietnam
With continually growing number of investment projects and rapid growth of industrial sectors in Vietnam such as automotive, electronics, construction, and electrical appliances, it is undeniable that there will be more and more demands for sheet metal fabricating technologies. Last year, a cooperation agreement was signed between N&G Investment and Development JSC and General Production, which represents 150 Japanese foundries and metal casting manufacturers to set up a foundry complex covering an area of 127 hectares in the Hanoi Southern Supporting Industrial Park & Urban Services (Hanssip).
Indeed, in the Master Plan on Supporting Industry Development to 2020, vision to 2030, Vietnam Government has set up objectives that by 2020, Vietnam will basically become an industrialized country with high competitiveness of supporting industry products and meeting 45% of essential demand for domestic production, consumption and exporting 25% of industrial production value. By 2030, supporting industry products meets 70% of demand for domestic production and consumption. Develop solutions for supporting industries focused on production, promoting business links have also been offered as a basis tool for the implementation on the target.
In response to this emerging quest for technologies, Reed Tradex has launched the first edition of “Vietnam Sheet Metal 2016” to be the only sheet metal fabrication technology and machinery exhibition in the country.
