Introduction:
PSA has been a major international technical forum for communication of major probabilistic risk and safety information since Professor David Okrent (1922-2012) organized the first of this series in 1978 in Newport Beach, California. This international conference, now conducted on a biennial basis, includes paper and panel sessions on issues, methods, applications, insights, policy and regulation, and is the fourteenth meeting in the technical series sponsored by the American Nuclear Society (ANS) and its Nuclear Installations Safety Division (NISD).
