Power systems of the future must be flexible, relying on dispatchable renewable energy, storage and enhanced transmission. The grid must evolve to manage flexible and variable power sources and cope with the increased load brought about by greater electrification to enable these transitions to reach a more sustainable energy future. These changes support the Singapore Green Plan 2030, a nationwide movement to advance Singapore's national agenda on sustainable development.
