Introduction:
The Asian Pacific Endodontic Confederation (commonly known as APEC) was organized in December 1985 in Bangkok. The aims of APEC, as stated in the first Constitution are to promote, develop and maintain high standards of endodontic research, education and clinical practice in the Asian Pacific region and to gather a closer professional relationships of the endodontic practitioners within the Asian Pacific region.
Promoting endodontic education among the Asian Pacific countries has been an evolving objective of our Confederation. Through combined efforts with international local endodontic societies and associations, the APEC holds conjoint scientific meetings and forums in many countries of the region. These lectures are often popular and attended not only by endodontic specialists but also by general dental practitioners. We welcome clinicians and researchers to participate in the activities of our confederation across the world.
