Introduction:
Since its creation by the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP), in 1954, the biannual event PERUMIN Mining Convention aims at strengthening the specialized professional development of the attendants and to spread new knowledge that is the result of research, innovation and application of technology in mining operations. In the same manner, it contributes to spread the importance of the mining sector for the development of the country.
In this edition, our goal is not only to show the latest mining technological and provide effective solutions to the main problems our Peruvian mining sector faces. We also want to stress the message that mining is not only about moving capitals and machinery, but tat it fosters development, since it has an integrating power that engages other productive and service activities, adding value and creating fair employment.
