Introduction:
"Green factory" is the main body of green manufacturing, i.e. the factory with "intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production, resourceful waste and low-carbon energy", and the creation of green factories is also an important way to promote the optimisation of industrial structure and improve quality and efficiency. Green development has become a global consensus, and China has proposed to achieve "carbon peak" by 2030 and "carbon neutral" by 2060. In this context, reducing carbon emissions is not only the social responsibility of industrial enterprises around the world, but also directly related to the international competitiveness of industrial products. In order to enhance the green and low-carbon level of China's high-end manufacturing industry, the "Green Factory Design, Construction and Plant Management Conference Asia", co-hosted by Shanghai Municipal Development Zone Association, Shanghai Municipal Federation of Industrial Economy, Shanghai Energy Conservation Engineering and Technology Association, and Steel and Wood Buildings Branch of China Construction Association, will be held on 2-4 August 2024 at the New International Expo Centre, Shanghai, China.
