LACQUA20 will be the 2020 Annual meeting of the Latin American & Caribbean Chapter of WAS.
Following upon the previous successful LACQUA meetings, LACQUA20 will bring international attention to the aquaculture industry of Equador and Central America.
LACQUA20 will take place in Guayaquil, Ecuador. It is the second biggest city in the country. Ecuador's aquaculture is characterized by shrimp crops, being the largest shrimp exporter in the continent. Other species found in the country are tilapia, in the Andean region, trout and in the Amazon region, Cachama, Sabalo and Paiche.
