Introduction to METALTECH & AUTOMEX:
For the past decade, METALTECH & AUTOMEX has driven the growth of Malaysia's metalworking, machinery, robotics, and automation industries. As the first dedicated business event in the region, it covers sectors like electrical & electronics, automotive, aviation, food & beverages, plastics & rubbers, pharmaceuticals, and medical technology.
The annual event hosts over 1,500 technology providers from 19 countries, including group pavilions from China, Germany, Singapore, Taiwan, and South Korea. Held at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur, METALTECH is recognized globally as an essential platform for suppliers to launch new products and services, attracting over 20,000 visitors in four days.
METALTECH also includes the International Automation Technology Exhibition (AUTOMEX), showcasing the latest automation and manufacturing technologies. AUTOMEX features robotics, assembly, and machine-vision solutions, drawing exhibitors and visitors worldwide.
Chinese Brands at the Exhibition.
According to official data, 94 Chinese companies participated in this event. On-site, we indeed saw many Chinese compatriots, such as BODOR INC. (Jinan Bodor Laser), Han's Laser, Haitian Machinery, Heli Forklift, Zhuzhou Diamond, and Han's Star Laser.
Made-in-China.com: A Regular Attendee
Made-in-China.com has participated in METALTECH for many consecutive years. This time, it was in its usual location (4330), adjacent to Lixin and Han's Laser. Behind it were booths of other Chinese companies and some cooperative enterprises from Malaysian SME associations. Products from "Suzhou Longkai Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd." were displayed at the booth, attracting the favor of numerous agents from the local market and other Southeast Asian markets.
At this exhibition, several companies also shared cutting-edge technologies in various fields such as PVD coating, ERP management, digital transformation, and 3D scanning systems. Industrial robots, CNC machines, and similar products were among the popular items at this year's exhibition.
A Digital Showroom is available at the exhibition site, allowing buyers to quickly filter suitable suppliers by industry and region using their mobile phones.
Buyers visiting the Made-in-China.com booth tend to purchase the following types of products more frequently: industrial automation equipment, CNC machines, metal processing equipment, steel materials, and new composite materials.
There are also some international sourcing agents seeking cooperation opportunities on-site.
Made-in-China.com will continue to participate in offline exhibitions and bring you more interesting and fresh exhibition information. We also look forward to meeting you offline next time.
