2013 PV Guangzhou to Facilitate Emerging Market Expansion

Date: Jun 08,2013
From: PV Guangzhou

China’s photovoltaic industry has frequently encountered anti-dumping and anti-subsidy in foreign countries, giving rise to unprecedented difficulties for PV companies focusing on overseas markets. Thanks to cost reduction and emerging market exploitation, PV industry is gradually seeing recovery and positive development.

However, many corporations are still facing hard times at the moment. Recently, talks between China and EU regarding PV disputes hit deadlock and the final outcome remains unknown. Once no consensus is reached by both sides, a punitive duty of 46.7% will be imposed on China’s PV products, which will lead to a more severe situation.

Undeniably, the biggest problem for China’s PV industry lies in excess capacity and we’ve been suffering this issue for many years. To solve this problem, we have reached common ground, namely, vigorously expanding domestic and overseas markets. Based on the current situation, domestic PV industry seems quite promising in the future, but it cannot solve the current plight at present and exploiting new emerging markets can help us out.

In this regard, many of them have been actively adjusting market strategies and exploiting new emerging markets instead of solely relying on European markets so as to cope with high punitive tariff on imported solar panels from China. According to the Organizing Committee of PV Guangzhou, some exhibitors have continuously lowered export volume to European and American markets, and have attached more importance to Japan, India, South Africa, Russia and other emerging markets.

PV Guangzhou attracts professional visitors from Asia, South America, Africa and other emerging markets, which injects new vitality to the industry. Moreover, Yingli Solar, Hanergy, Canadian Solar and some leading companies have booked their booths at PV Guangzhou 2013. Thought facing international trade friction and business transformation, PV Guangzhou 2013 will facilitate your emerging market expansion.
