Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2016 marks its return by aiming to sharpen the mold and die industry and boost up supporting industry
As an important process equipment parts forming process in many industries, mold and die also often been regarded as the mother of modern industrial production. More than ever, mold and die industry in Vietnam are in need of a solid premise and firming foundation for development. Mr. Duangdej Yuaikwarmdee, Deputy Managing Director and General Manager Vietnam of Reed Tradex Co., Ltd. said that “Vietnam has become increasingly competitive in the field of precision injection molding. Overseas companies that move into Viet Nam also have to procure major parts from overseas, and it is essential for them to raise local procurement rates from the viewpoints of cost reduction and faster delivery.”
Mr. Tony Shale, Chief Executive Officer of Euromoney Institutional Investor in Asia affirmed that “Vietnam is becoming one of the fastest growing economies in Asia. Strategic location in the heart of Southeast Asia and fast growth bring Vietnam to become an attractive investment destination for foreign investors.”
Indeed, Japan is the world’s second largest supplier of molds and dies and is the world’s largest exporter of molds and dies. The survey by Japan’s Nikkei Economic Times showed that approximate 70 percent of Japanese businesses interviewed considered Vietnam as the most attractive destination, surpassing Thailand, Indonesia and India. There is an important contribution of Japanese investors, and also investors from other countries to drive Foreign Direct Investment in Vietnam to increase to 7199 USD Million in the third quarter of 2015 from 2622.50 USD Million in the second quarter of 2015 (reported by the General Statistics Office of Vietnam). Expanding the investment volume in Vietnam, these investors also bring to Vietnam their key production platforms in the mold and die, and of course, with this come their enforced quality system.
Recognizing the emerging opportunities, “Vietnam Manufacturing Expo” will make a grander return in 2016 with more defined focuses on mold & die and plastics manufacturing to better serve the core sectors such as electronics and motorcycle parts and components. This edition is ready to introduce 200 brands from 20 countries and offer the exclusive platform to drive business growth with over 10,000 quality buyers eager to capture the success at the right moment, especially after the realization of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) which will trigger a country in transition like Vietnam to glide with golden opportunities.
“Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2016” will be held on 06-08 April, 2016 at Hanoi International Center For Exhibition (I.C.E.), Hanoi, Vietnam.
