Hot topics for IOFT 2012

“tide – The IOFT Int’l Designers”
A zone exclusively dedicated to stylish and edgy international designers. As IOFT serves as a gateway to enter the Japanese and Asian market, “tide” will be the key location to make business and to witness the new trends before it is launched into the market.

“Japanese Brands”
Japanese frames and related products are known for its great quality and innovative function but in recent years, many Japanese designers are coming up with new designs with both function and style. These Japanese designers are emerging into the market and will be exhibiting at this years show. These products will be found both in the “Fukui Zone” (Fukui is one of the largest manufacturing centers of eyeglass frames in Japan) and widely dispersed within the exhibition halls.

Special Services only at IOFT
When visiting a trade fair abroad, many people have probably experienced language boundaries and the lack of time and information to make business during the show period. IOFT Show Management provides an online product/exhibitor search engine “e-Guidebook” (http://www.ioft.jp/en/eguide/ to be updated in September) to make the planning of the visit smoother for visitors.

Additionally, Show Management arranges a “Matching Service” for overseas premium buyers. This is a service in which Show Management specially invites premium buyers from top optical chain stores from the Asian region and arrange meetings with exhibitors. Show Management will also strengthen the support for exhibitors from overseas this year by arranging appointments with Japanese buyers as part of the exhibitor’s support package. Both services will include translation services by our multilingual staff.

IOFT would be a great place for overseas visitors and buyers to start business in Japan and Asia and expect to greatly contribute to the successful business of the optical industry.
