GEM Indonesia is again hosting the Biggest Green Energy Technology exhibition in Southeast Asia, Solartech Indonesia 2023, INALIGHT 2023 and Battery & Energy Storage Indonesia 2023 in conjucntion with the Smart Home+IoT Indonesia 2023, Cable Indonesia 2023, INATRONiCS 2023 and INAGREENTECH 2023 exhibitions which is a sub-event of Smart Energy Indonesia, which will be held on 2 - 4 March 2023 at JIExpo Kemayoran Jakarta.
This prestigious exhibition presents 431 exhibitors from 20 countries with a target of attracting more than 20,000 visitors, business people and investors from around the world in 3 days.
The exhibition will be divided into several zones such as Solar Cells/Panels, Solar Panel Machines and Materials, Battery Energy Storage Systems, LED Lights, Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Home, Power Cables, Electronic Components and other Environmentally Friendly Technologies.
Indonesia, which has great potential for new and renewable energy, will be able to become one of the world leaders in the development of green energy technology to realize Net Zero Emissions by 2060. This can be seen in Presidential Regulation no. 5/2006 concerning the National Energy Policy, as an effort to support and develop the New Renewable Energy (EBT) program. And the Indonesian government is also committed to reducing greenhouse gases by 29% by 2030.
One of the discussions and decisions at the G20 Presidency is regarding financing and investment in the green energy sector. Where the investment potential for Renewable Energy is quite large until the next 2060.
Since 2011 the Ministry of Finance has collaborated with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and has committed to achieving the new renewable energy mix target that has been set at 23% by 2025. This exhibition is expected to contribute to realizing the Net Zero Emission program before 2060.
In addition to the expo, there will be a series of informative and educational sessions on the latest trends and technologies in the solar power and green energy industry packaged in the Smart Energy Indonesia 2023 Forum, which will be attended by experts and experts from the government, associations and exhibitors. The speakers were from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs, PT. PLN and APAMSI (Indonesian Solar Module Manufacturing Association), AESI, NBRI will be present as resource persons at the event. Where the Smart Energy Indonesia 2023 Forum will contribute to the implementation of the energy transition in Indonesia and in Southeast Asia.
